I know that if I work hard and show what I'm interested in doing, PMI will support my career aspirations. I can see that this company values retaining employees and shifting them around based on their skill sets. I would only make this score a 10 if I thought there were more international opportunities going around. I can think of 2 people that were relocated from the AU office and are now working with PMI overseas since I began working here. I think that's awesome and working in another market sounds very exciting to me.

I think there are plenty of opportunities within the business. Personal interests might not always align with the business needs, which means you might not get into the position you like.

I have been able to rotate into different parts of the business as part of my graduate program. This has allowed me to develop skills in different departments and has increase my overall knowledge and value to the business. I see lots of opportunity to progress my career with a constant evolution of roles and responsibilities, as well as my peers internal progression that I see around me.

Philip Morris provides constant opportunities to move laterally and vertically in the business whilst also opening doors overseas. Moving up the ranks involves expressing to managers which areas within the business you have interest in whilst also documenting this within the allocated questions as part of our performance reviews. Philip Morris always looks to fill roles internally before hiring externally, particularly for higher management roles. This ensures that employees are constantly offered promotion possibilities and rewards those that work hard within the business.
