Internship Experience by Sean of DLSU Dasmarinas

What I loved most was how professional everything was, and it truly felt like I was really working at a company. I especially enjoyed doing clerical tasks because I understood what to do right away. I also liked screening the resumes of applicants. Everything requires our time, energy, focus, and effort. These moments can lead to a sense of growth or accomplishment. It’s all about how we balance them. But I digress—the moment that shows me that I’m on the right path is when I get positive feedback from the staff. It gives me a sense of assurance that my efforts are being recognized and that I’m contributing in a meaningful way to the company. This motivates me to keep working hard.

The knowledge I have now compared to before is vastly different. I may not be well-versed in everything, but it certainly helped me gain a better grasp of how things work here in the Talent Acquisition Department. I have learned many technical terms during my time here, which will help me—or better yet, give me an advantage—in the future. Although it was a short time, I have been equipped with the knowledge and skills that will surely serve me well in the future.
