What I love about my internship is that the people around me truly believe in the potential of my skills, even when I feel like I may not meet their expectations. Despite my doubts, they consistently trust me, even with big projects. They see me as a capable person, and they put their faith in me. Yes, it’s definitely tiring and exhausting; everything I’ve learned is new to me, and at times, it feels overwhelming. There were moments when I wasn’t sure if I should keep going, but without the guidance I received, I may have given up. My experience at Gardenia has been life-changing. I’m grateful I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone and absorb myself in an IT work environment. The MIS department has helped shape me into who I am today. I’m incredibly thankful for the knowledge and lessons you all have given me.
My internship experience has significantly boosted my self-confidence in a work environment. At first, I was unsure of my abilities and worried about whether I could meet the expectations placed on me. However, the trust and support from my colleagues and supervisor helped me realize my potential. They believed in me, even when I doubted myself, which gave me the motivation to push through challenges. The opportunities to work on projects that were new and challenging helped me step out of my comfort zone and learn new skills. I quickly realized that even though I was learning on the job, I had the ability to adapt and grow. The positive feedback and encouragement from my team strengthened the idea that I was capable of handling bigger responsibilities.
