Responsibilities
- Learn and support manufacturing processes in Slider Fabrication particularly in Harmony
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, cost reduction, waste elimination)
- Minimize and/or eliminate safety, quality and productivity issues
- Use precision gauges, test instruments, and process equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree program in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or etc.)
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with gathering and analyzing data (MS Access)
- Familiarity with statistical software packages (Minitab, JMP, etc.)
- Familiarity with programming
