Manage customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a hybrid work environment.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Receive and process customer orders through various channels such as phone calls, emails, faxes, and online portals.
- Verify order details including pricing, product availability, shipping information, and billing addresses.
- Manage backorders by monitoring stock levels and communicating estimated delivery dates to customers.
- Update systems with order information and communicate updates to customers.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire ordering process.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to customer orders.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of success in an order management role.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on accuracy and precision.
