Accounting Assistant (Rolling Intake)

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes accounting entries and account balances and adjust erroneous entries
• Develop and maintain financial records
• Maintain clean subsidiary ledgers of all accounts
• Perform other related functions as may be directed by the superior
• Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation.
• Reconciling bank statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Handling invoice processing, including verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals, and coordinating payments.
• Monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assisting with payroll processing, including maintaining employee records and calculating wages.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conducting financial analysis and generating reports to support decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Can be trained in working reporting tools
