Position Summary
Assisting the head chef with food preparation, and ensuring all cooking equipment are working properly.
What you'll do
- Perform day-to-day operations in the Culinary Kitchen.
- Assist Chefs in ingredient sourcing and procurement, mise en place, cooking and clean-up during culinary events and any day-to-day activities in the Culinary Kitchen.
- Handles cash for raw materials procurement and summarizes the expense with all the necessary documents before turning it over to the assigned chef.
- Work with the assigned Chef in any culinary activity within the day.
- Do regular inventory of materials, equipment, tools and utensils.
- Ensure that appropriate Sanitation, Maintenance and Safety Standards are being followed.
- Implement and maintain Culinary Excellence Standards (ServSafe, HACCP).
- Assist Foodservice Business Development and Departments in ideation activities and other Foodservice related events.
- Assist in Media Food Shoots, TV/Video Shoots & Company Promotional Shoots.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Culinary Kitchen.
- Other duties as assigned from time-to-time by Culinary Operations Head or Chefs
What you'll bring
- You must be at least a High School graduate.
- With experience working in a restaurant as a cook or service crew.
- Excellent Communication Skills, working in other departments and such.
- Willing to work at Brixton, Pasig City.
