Research and Development Specialist (Start ASAP)

Overview: 

Conduct specific laboratory research and analysis to develop new products and improve existing paint formulations and manufacturing processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts specific laboratory testing and analysis based on the requirement of the new developed paint formulation.
• Conducts a comparative evaluation of the local and imported paints vs. existing products and makes necessary reformulation and revision.
• Performs laboratory work to correctly on-process problematic batches.
• Submits monthly activity report for the month.
• Develops new paint products based on the market demands or that will create market demand.
• Reviews, reformulates and upgrades existing products based on research, raw material substitution and new technology.
• Perform laboratory work to correct in-process non-conforming production batches.
