About the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is the primary agency in the Philippines responsible for the collection of internal revenue taxes, enforcing tax laws, and ensuring that taxpayers comply with their tax obligations. It is a vital agency critical to the country’s economic growth and development.

Your responsibilities

  • Organize the Human Resource Merit Personnel Selection Board and handle secretariat functions.
    -Notifying members regarding meetings;
    -Arranging venue;
    -Organizing agenda folder; and
    -Taking and drafting of the minutes of the meeting.
  • Monitor and update HR analytics such as accession and separation of employees, profile of employees, retention and turnover rate, on probationary employees on a monthly basis.
  • Tag attendance records in the PPPC Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Update personnel information in the PPP HRIS.
  • Update/maintain a database of Individual Performance Commitment Reports;
  • Create infographics and other Information Education Communication (IEC) materials (i.e., Flag Ceremony materials, work-related announcements, approved appointments, and other human resource-related announcements).
  • Perform other work that may be assigned from time to time by the Division Chief or by higher authorities.
